Unfortunately, no. In this case they (I was just crew) were running an ITA/7 FB, so the only option was "be gentle with everything, this has to last 13 hours...".

Interesting about the 626 tranny, I hadn't heard about them.

I would not build a car. BUY ONE. I know of 3 that are for sale here in Atlanta. One is an American Road Race Of Champions winner.

When you build a car you just end up spending so much more money that buying one that has already been shaken down... The head aches are unreal with these cars when you start from a stock car.

I have my car for sale also. The engine and transmission have 2 races on them. Exhaust is a 3in mandral bent with a re-speed header. Carb has been done. Rear end has a WICKED panhard bar. 2 sets of Panosports. Ground control shocks. Custom springs. Turn in spacers. The list goes on and on ... This car with a trailer .... $6,500.

If you build a car:

Donor Car: $500
Roll Cage: $3,500
Engine: 1000 to ??? (How fast do you want to go?)
Shocks/Springs/Turn in Spacers: $800 (Thats Low)
Wheels: $1200
Painless Wiring kit: $350
Right here we are at $8,300 ... This does not include painting the car. Racing seat. Fuel Cell. Fuel Pump..... Do I need go on?!!!!

I belive that the ARRC winning car is for sale for $13,000.

My car is $6,500 - Needs nothing just more development.
Another friends car is for sale for $8,000 - This is a very very clean and staight car.

I also have a first gen (E-production car) that was in an accident. Rear of the car is tube frame. 4-link rearend. Fiberglass widebody. This car will need some TLC. The Front suspension rebuilt. Fiberglass work. Ill sell this - for $3,500.

Your welcome to email me at Hprduction38@aol.com or call 770-712-2708 - I have built many of these cars. Ill be happy to guide you.
