That looks nice. A diagonal in the main hoop, plus a diagonal in the rear braces = nice and stiff

Thanks for all they positive comments. I don't think I could have done it without geometry lessons and the jd2 #4 bender. 1.5 .120" add 12 degrees to your measurement and it was around 110 cm to 115cm from the tangent line, if you have to make your own. I'm happy with my results even though it's my first try. Measure twice, cut once! Onto my roof, I'll post pictures
I'll have to figure how this great condition s5 headliner can squeeze through through the roll bar, and how I need to modify my car to fit cleanly without a gap. Body shop or tuning first? Oh wait, my windshield needs to be on.
