Don't know who's seen this or posted it before, but it popped up on the KC RX-7 Facebook page and I wasn't sure where else to put it. Thing's insane.

It just has such a strange layout. I'd imagine a good exhaust note isn't far off, but I'm not partial to this one either. Also, this one is apparently a marine application, so how fair of a comparison to the next (car) application this is, I'm not 100% sure.
Can't gripe about 1440hp on 87 pump gas, though. I'd like to see the dyno for 3600 when they build and boost it.

I actually met the inventor, Tyson, of these motors at a Gaby Skern tuning/meet session in 2011. Really cool guy, super humble. Wouldn't even know you were standing next to a millionaire if no one told you.
Cool story bro edition - There was this really poorly sorted 3 rotor FD that showed up to get dyno'd at the shop where the meet was. one of the more major problems, trust me there were many, was that there was a leak coming from the coolant outlet on the water pump housing. Without even asking Tyson was ready to start welding the pin-hole leak ASAP.
Everyone one was busy getting their car tuned or helping on the dyno and there was only 2-3 reps from the shop so they were helping run the dyno/backround stuff. One of em was able to point Tyson in the right direction to the welder and he went right into action. He had it patched in less than 15 mins once they nailed down where it was leaking. Later i found out that not only did Tyson tell the guy not to worry about trying to pay him, and Tyson offered to do it only after hearing through the grapevine that it would need fixing to get on the rollers.
