Exclamation Raceshop Rollbar: Need Some Help...

Hi,

I purchased a brand new Raceshop Rollbar awhile back and turns out I have a problem. The bracket that's suppossed to hold the rear strut bar in place is not there. I've talked to Larry without any luck so I'm forced to fix the problem myself. I was hoping for the community's help.

I was wondering if anyone has one of these rollbars not installed in their car, would you be willing to send me your brackets (It's the rear bracket that installs the strut bar and mounts to the shock tower)? I won't modify/damage yours, I only need it to determine the right bracket size/length so I can have a welder build me a replica. Please let me know if you'd be willing to help me out. I would return it in a timely fashion and would take care of all the shipping expenses plus give you an additional sum to show my appreciation.

PLEASE HELP if you can...

Thanks,
Rizwan

P.S. If no one is willing to do that, would you guys with one installed be able to provide me with the measurements for that bracket? Again, I would only need the measurements for the bracket that extends out that's used to install the rear strut bar. Thanks!!!

Rizwan,
Are you talking about the bracket that sit's atop the strut tower? Do you have either of them?

That's the one! I have both of the actual mounts that sit atop the strut tower, but neither of them have the bracket needed to install the rear strut bar.

Can't you just drive your car to a good welder with both strut tower roll bar mounts in place and bring the center bar along and just tell him to weld on some brackets to hold the bar. May as well make the brackets even fatter to give your bar that little something extra
