Question... TurboII 1st gen?

Ok, I know the rules for most of the stock classes and CSP, but when you get into the more complicated ones the rules start to get cryptic....

This is just an eventual *what if* but if I read it right it appears that I would go straight to CP with the turbo setup... If I went PP or some other forum of NA I would stay down in the EP/FP (don't remember)

Man.. CP is one hell of an index... Yea, I can run 16x10 wheels as long as I keep my weight about 2250lbs?

Wow rules are so damn complicated.

EP requires stock port locations ie NO bridge or PP allowed, at least on a 13b, for a 12a PP may be ok in EP.

He is asking what class he would be in with a TII motor in a GSL-SE.

Ok, in FP the rules state (2001)

12a PP 1900lbs min 16x10 wheels
12a no PP, BP ok 1800min, 16x7 wheels
13b BP or PP ok 1900 16x10

I have no idea what they're talking about, but that's what it says... Gives restrictions on carb setups with those as well.

ok... this is way to damn complaicated. Maybe I'll just build by 7 for fun and autocross my truck.

If you turbo a 1st gen you automatically are in EMod. Not a good place for a 2000# car but should be fun anyway. Might consider running in SM2 if turbo's are allowed. I'm not to familiar with the rules for the newer classes.

Any 1st or 2nd gen RX-7 running in FP will be N/A. A turbo'd 2nd gen will be in BP.
