Only wall that comes into play is when you are on the NASCAR oval. All the rest can be completely avoided by not trying to hero save your way out of a mistake. Everytime someone hits the wall in the infield it is because they tried to catch a spin instead of going both feet in.
Wish I could see the video from work, but youtube is a blocked site. Maybe I will take my e30 out next track day, the suspension was built as a Spec E30 car. It is definately a blast to drive and plenty capable of track time.
I am anxious to see the lines you take! Thanks for posting the video!

The Nascar oval is a little stressful. It still suprises me how the lateral g's feel. Going fast and turning hard.
BTW, those lap times are about 7-10 sec slower than what I'm turing now.

Cozmo, they are treadwear 60 but they feel harder than the RA-1's(treadwear 100). I drove them pretty hard and they felt pretty good. My suspension is a little aggressive and the bigger 275's I'm running now stick a lot better. BTW, those tires did hold up very well and would be huge improvement over street tires

I would drive lines on two and maybe three of the corners differently...especially the corner when you are driving right at the tirewall on the infield (blind left hander). On the right hander that sets that up it is best to get both right side tires onto, if not over, the rumble strips. It makes that much more of a straight shot and going over the rumble strips is no biggie cause it is still paved. That way you are full throttle from just before the right hander all the way to the carousel. That will pick up some time.
I would love to get the tires from ya...I just don't have another set of wheels and that isn't in the budget right now. Maybe before summer. We will see.

I'm jealous, almost 5 months until it gets warm enough for our track days. Your car looks great btw. Do you have any pics with the gt200 wing(per sig)? I am considering the same wing and would like to see how it looks on the fd. Is it a big improvement over the '99? tia-Garrett

Here are pics of the recently installed APR GTC-200 wing mounted on the trunk. It seems very nice and is adjustable. Next time I run is with Nasa on Jan 6-7th at PIR. I will post up the reuslts.

That wing is big! Looks like it will do what you need it to. I wish I could make it out to the Jan 6th event but I have to move my friend to LA...I may get back with enough time on Sunday to get to the track late, but we will see.....
Jason Boles just took over NASA-AZ! That's a good thing, he's a friend of mine and the events will definately get better from here.
