Your signature list it as a 1989 model. Those are 86-88 bumpers and taillights. Is it an '89 Car with 86-88 trim or an 86-88 Car with '89 Motor? It might help if you put together a detailed list of the build. Do what you want but someone spending $16k wants the facts. In any case, it appears to be a nice car from what I've seen and would definitely cost more than $16k to replicate. Best of luck with the sale.

Since you don't have this car in the for sale section I assume you are soliciting opinions on value. Says above your asking 16k for it. IMHO you will be lucky getting a little over 10k for it. I have bought 3 race cars in the last five years and am building another one from scratch, I don't know much but I do know that these cars just are not selling. Hope yours proves me wrong. Good luck with the sale.

well considering that this car has a lil over $30,000 in it from wht the guy i bought it off of showed me....i dont see why i cant get at least $15,000 for it......and building a car from the ground up have fun with that i have built 5 cars from scratch one of them beeing an Rx-8 that runs in the Grand Am GT class.its alot of time and money but good luck with the build. my buddy just spent the last two years building an IT car. he said he wouldnt do it again.

agreed, I don't think I'll ever try and build again. I posted some pics in the cage thread a while back. My cars at the paint shop now. I got so frustrated that I bought another car to race while I'm working on the build. Buying is the only way to go, but I still can't explain why these cars just don't move unless your around the 10-12k range. I'm impressed you built a 20b rx-8. Is the car still racing, I watch most all the races?

well yes and no....the guys i helped with the build are a private team with a really tight budget so they only do a handfull of races but yea its still running.
