Which Oil in Race Conditions?

Hi Guys,

My RX is running 450hp with TD06 and runs hard on the track in temperatures in winter at minumun 16'C and summer maximun 30'C.

I am looking at Royal Purple 10w40 on next oil change, is this the right way to go?

Thanks for any help.

BR

How many oils are available on the market? That's how many opinions you'll get. I run 15-50 Mobil 1 Syn (they don't have a 20-50). I may switch to Valvoline 20-50 Race though, just because it's cheaper and I like to change oil a lot. A 20-50 though is the most popular weight choice.
