need info on Peripheral intake
I would like to know what lenght people are using on their intake for a 13B peripheral port running with a carb.
Here is my problem.
Due to my sway bar, I had to make a longer intake and now I'm have less horse power but more concerning my air fuel ratio is too high 15%
Any body can explain
Thx

Good luck getting that thing sorted out, Benny. I watched your tune on Saturday. That thing sounds awesome, plain awesome!

Your intake manifold looks like mine; a Racing Belt welded steel 2" tubing manifold. Did you add more tubing to make it taller than RB?
Is that your sway bar running between the tubes???
Did the A/F ratio on the carb change when you put the longer manifold on? Did you change anything else at this time (like air box, fuel plumbing, etc?)
When you say the A/F ratio is too high, do you mean it is now too lean? Could you have created any vacuum leaks?
I run with HSR on the east coast; I wish you could come east to race sometime.
