Well it came and went. Although I put a lot more effort into getting ready. I just wasn't ready enough. Not sure but I think I was down on power. Couldn't tell for sure and the Dyno at the rack was putting out random numbers. First run was 139hp. good enough. but I should have been @ 145 hp. But then I ran it again and it was 129hp. I barley got the motor done and in. So it is what it is. All I know was the Miata that had 135hp was pulling me down the straights.
Never the less. I shot my self in the foot in the first qualifying race by making contact and taking us both out. BMW cut a tire, I plugged my air filter with Buttonwillow dirt. DQed So starting dead last in Q2 race.
Got a good start. But traffic and a few untimely miss shifts held me back till the end. A out of class car had a big off. Came back on in front of me. Then gave up. Just enough to be in my way as I was catching P2. Finished P3
The race was a dust bowl. Starting 2nd from last. 30-40 mph wind gust blowing tumble weeds and Dust. Bring visibility down to 10' at times. The pace car couldn't see and spaced us out to far from the first (faster cars) group green flag. Then I couldn't even see the flagging stand let alone the green flag.
First lap was sketchy at best. Then cleared up here and there. Got a few good clean laps in and worked my way up to P3. But by then the faster class traffic started in. They just seem to catch me in all the corners before long straights. Taking away my momentum. I'd reel in P2, then another one would hold me up. Then Justin in the Miata caught me. I held him back a few laps. Slowing us both down. Then thought if I let him by, I could fallow him up front. Then here comes another faster class car, passes and holds me up through one of the most critical corners. And Justin's gone. I, again start reeling in the Saturn, now in P3 as Justin got by and was after Dan Howard in P1. That's how we finished.

Fridays Q1 race

Here is the start of the Final race. My cam shut off so I didn't get the complete race.
