Alex, even if you have never done this, try group 2, you can always go back, but I know you won't
Hi Paul , see you at the track in the spring, I'm waiting on wheels coming from Japan

DOH! It'll be good to see you out there.. What wheels did you get?

I ran a 1:59.2 in the race yesterday.. Still 5 seconds off the winning pace, but I can probably get 2 of those with Hoosiers instead of Toyos.

I am getting SSR SP1 3 piece wheels. 18x10.5 front, and 18x12 rear. I will primarily be running 25x10x18, and 25.5x11x18 Goodyear slicks off the Grand Am GT3 Porsches(take-offs). For reference the metric equivelant for the rear tire is 345-28-18. Great time BTW, you have really picked up the pace . I will have a steep learning curve when I hit the track. Last time I ran was almost a year ago. I may bring my Supra out for the Dec 13-14 Speedventures event if it is not raining Regards, Carl

So Alwan, where were you, there were a few FDs there and I didn't know which one you were.

Carl, I hear ya about the long delay, I remember my build up of the RX-7, it took forever. Yeah, I'm moving up speed wise, racing is the best training I've ever done, every track I've dropped 5-6 seconds a lap of my HPDE times, just by watching and racing with these guys. It's an eye opener.

All in all, it was a good day and I am definitely going to group 3 next time. too much traffic in my way he he.
my car floats a little b/c of the lack of susupension but the ra-1 were glue. My wife said that the fastest time she recorded was a 2.20 but I had a passenger with me and there was a lot of traffic. If I get a suspension I would like to see 2.10 my next time back at the point.

hey Paul it is Jeremy sucks about Sunday. will there be some videos though.

Hey Jeremy, yeah, Sunday bit the big one, but hey, what can you do. Good thing I can get rid of the rubber marks pretty easily Yeah, I'll have some video sooner or later.

2:20 is definitely a respectable time for someone in HPDE 2, good job!

Anyone see our LOUD black FC?? We were officially the loudest car at the track last weekend, at 116db!! And the car still doesn't go anywhere.
Working on a super muffler system as we speak.
PaulC, are you guys doing the 12/25hrs?

PaulC, I finally got my provisional license so I'll see you out at the first race of next year,, more like trying to catch you.
I've realized the speed difference between HPDE 4 and race group A is huge.

You want loud, try no exhaust, straight out the turbo is what my wife is enduring when I move the car out of the garage

Hey Paul,

Great!! It'll be good to see you out there with us! Yeah, the speed is way different between HPDE4 and Racing, no time to relax like you can in HPDE4...

Sorry I can't make the 12 hour!

Yeah, I'd wish it moves. Don't have the time to touch it.
