NA FC Rev limiter cut

Does anybody know/can tell me how to remove the rev limiter from a stock FC ECU without sending it out to someone to be disabled?

Thanks,
Eric

sure, its pretty straight forward.

1. remove ecu from car

2. use your chip reader to get the data off of the eprom.

3. look in the code, find the rev limiter line, and change it.

4. since the chip isn't flashable, you need to burn a new one

5. install the new chip.

6. pat yourself on back.

or if you have a s4 car you can raise the rev limiter by swapping in a s5 trailing coil pack unit i did that on mine and it raised the revlimiter to 8200 instead of 7600
