just took a look and they are s02a. they make lots of noise and are not as sticky as the standard s02 but are consistent, long lasting and fun to drive on. they remind me of the re bridgstones.

Still no video but I will work on it this week. I may send Vosko a disc so he can host it for me.

Try this link to view a small video both in length and in size If you open it with the media regular setting and have your video acceleration about 1/2 way its viewable.
Go to the link, click on the video tab, then press play, select the regular speed media player and hopefully it will work.

Starting to instruct more and more but currently only do it with 3 different clubs. If you can make it to a NASA, Potomac Audi club, or Z-club event I may get to instruct you because they usually match instructors to students with similar cars. If you end up with a different instructor I could atleast take you out for a few laps.
Thanks for the kind words

Found some footage showing a good example of bad driving. To much input too soon causing a little too much rotation in turn 4. Classic example of getting a little carried away with moving the rear end around. That corner and Oak tree are really fun corners for a little rotation which our can do at will.
There was another time at Oak tree where I was tracking down a z06 and got a little too carried away again. I'll see if I can find that one on video too

FD's if driven hard are pretty sick track cars but the race cars guys sometimes don't realize how quick and fd can be. I was passed once that weekend by a Viper comp. Went out once behind a Porsche cup car (fastest car on the track that weekend) that was running close to 2:00 flats. He was soon a dot far ahead of me but he didn't lap me He ended up winning the open enduro that weekend.

If and when my car gets finished I'm hoping for an initial 320 rwhp at 2600lbs, with the jrz coilovers, hoosier 285s, pfc 93 or better compounds for pads, and I really think I can break the 2:10s this year. BTW I may have something even more montrous up my sleeve ssheeheehe

Its a 94 base with most everything taken out. It was corner weighted in sept and the total weight without driver was 2650. So it shouldn't be too hard. I'm thinking about taking out the airbags, carpet, climate control under dash stuff, replacing the rear hatch glass with the light weight plexi etc...oh and also just went single which will probably help.
What? Brad Barber? What car? Who's he
VIR owes us from last year it will be 60 and sunny with just a slight breeze....THINK POSITIVE!

Just checked the race results from the NASA event. The cup cars best lap was a 2:03.75, next best lap a 996 with a 2:05, then some kit car with 2:09. So considering those times in an open track event where you run what you want I think the FD could be a competitor for that cup car Imagaine my car with Dunlop slicks, 200lbs lighter, and running 15lbs of boost on race gas which should yield another 100 rwhp (single turbo of course). I seriously think that would shave 10 seconds and I think my car is capable of a better lap than 2:13. The 2:13 lap is just about the only lap I had without traffic and I wasn't going all out on the straights just reaching 145 and maintaining until the brake zone. I think had I kept it planted I could of seen 150's on both the front and back straight. So just maybe he should worry about my little fd

Hopefully I'll get a chance to take you out in my blue fd and we can turn some 2:10s or better
