My FC few updates

Hey guys some updates on the car been to a few events trying to work out all the bugs....

Motor has been amazing. Other then few small problems with aftermarket coils taking a ****…..
I finally have the hydraulic E brake setup working no more shearing off the mounting bolts.

The car is super loose once it comes out due to panhard bar placement and overall suspension setup.
I’ve moved the bar so hopefully next event the car will drive proper…….

Over the past few months I’ve added a few things to the car one being a straight cut Dogbox transmission from G-Force. The trans is amazing but stupid loud!

The car still needs aero and fenders so i can fit my slicks. Anyways here’s a few pics of the car and a short video.

i dont know how to post vids on this site so here in the link

The car was built for ST-1 class racing. I run drifting events at Englishtown NJ Raceway Park. Its free for me so been sorting things out on the road course.

The cars a bit of an odd setup with a ford 8.8 soild rear axle with 3 link and bilstein's all around

It's been awhile since I've posted anything about my car so heres a few updates.

I ran the car in the 2011 Duryea hill climb in S3 came in 3rd in my class.

Day one went great car felt awesome. End of the day i was in 2nd behind Bill. Day 2 there was major problems on the track crashes oil down and even a cobra ripping into 2 pieces!!. First run up of the day turn one i hit a red flag due to a crash in turn 3 so had to turn around and wait for clean up/rerun. The car felt awesome last 2 run but kept cutting on and off couldn't find out what it was (till i got home was the ground wire for dash/ecu power switch bolt was about to fall out).

All in all was a great event learned a lot about the car and what I need to change. The valving in the front and rear shocks is way off both need more rebound. Also the panhard bar could probably be moved up one hole. End of the day i was in 3rd. guy with a turbo v8 mustang got first, bill in his dads MG, then me.

Here is a video from Duryea Hillclimb.

Can i get some more info on your trans setup?

I have a RWD L67 road race build underway (non-RX7) and am looking for an appropriate bell and trans to use. I have the setup from a '98 camaro but am looking for something a little more race oriented.

I know Mcleod makes a bell that fits the 60deg v6 bolt pattern. Which bell are you using?

Any info you could provide would be awesome!

Im running a 60 deg gm t5 bell housing that i adapted to the Ford t5 bolt pattern. The trans has G Force road race dog box gear set. I'm running a custom unsprung copper ceramic clutch disc i had made. The flywheel and PP are from a 3800 Camaro. I hope this helps.

I am assuming that you have a GM bell and not a SFI one?

Thanks for the reply.
