I have a MOMO Nascar also and it's a glove. I've sat in Sparco tube framed seats and have not been impressed, same can probably be said for any tube frame seat. If I were shopping for one currently I would look at Sparco's intermediate models i.e. Rev, Pro 2000

Corbeau lost their FIA approval on seats a couple of years ago and I'm not sure that it was reinstated.

In my experience I would list popular seat manufacturers for best to worst as:

Recaro
Sparco
MOMO/Racetech (tie)
Sabelt
OMP
Kirkey/Butler

No love for COBRA seats?? I like the price of their carbon/kevlars compared to everyone else.

My take on that is that any list is apt to be wrong for MANY cases, since each manufacturer makes a wide range of seats, so it's not really fair to rank them. It's sort of like saying Ford is faster than Chevy.

Thanks for that Junior. Let me re-classify that list. Let's call it "From Best to Average". Each of the companies makes at least one fantastic seat. I drew up that hierarchy considering overall quality of construction, materials, durability, comfort, and product range. I've done annual techs on hundreds (500+) cars so I figured myself a bit of an authority. My apologies. And yes I should include Cobra in there somewhere.

The MOMOs appear to have narrower shoulder wings, and that helps them fit in an FD. My Sparco EVO needed a little trimming under the cover to the outside shoulder wing.

Race seats are a great addition (one you get in or out of them).
