Koni double adjustable Vs Penske shocks

Has anybody on this forum had the opportunity to actually try both types of shocks and see if their is a difference?

I run the Tri-Point double adjustable not the new heaver set. I believe mine are 2400 not the bigger 2600.

I am looking for feedback from somebody that has actually tried both.

Thanks

Allan

I have the same Koni's from Tri-Point on my 10th AE. They are the best I've been on, but I have not been on any Penskes except in a formula car and you can't make a comparison between those two.
Penskes sure cost alot more. Tri-Point sells them, why don't you ask them?

Penske 8100 and Koni 2812 are both very high quality dampers. Both can be custom valved to your requirements. I believe the Penskes offer more valve piston configurations - linear, vdp, digressive, etc. And they use shims that can be stacked for varying valve rates. For autox both are excellent. If you track the car, a triple or quad adjustable damper offers high speed valve control (> 2Hz). That will allow for fine tuning to the surface undulation.

Koni 2812 and Penske 8100 are around $825-$850 per corner (no springs). The triple-adj Penske 8760 were $1250 per. And the last quote I got from Ohlins for their TT44 was $10K for a set of four.

i have penske triple adjustables, they are good, just go penske. i dont wanna think right now. to tell you the truth, JRZ's are better, so if thats an option talk to Wael from elda engineering. if not go to eric messely for penskes, hes pretty cool. if you want autocross go to Guy ankeny from ankeny racing. ok thats all for me
