All I can say is wow!!!
The class taught basic safety maneuvers and avoidance skills but the last half of the day was lapping sessions in my car!!!
I never knew what the RX-7 could do until the instructor took it out and showed me how to drive the thing.
All I can say is I'm humbled by the experience and can't wait to do it again.
I was only RX-7 there sadly; just a sea of Porsche's and Audi's with a smat of Japanese vehicles, 2 station wagon's, and 2 SUV's.
Audi R4 w/ the V8 smokes!
One dude with an old school Porsche was fast too!
Unfortunately my group didn't have the real fast cars but I had my hands full on a Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG. Thing was fast but I caught him in the corners.
Instructor's didn't let us always pass people so I had to wait quite a while before they let me through.
Co-worker brought his NSX and he had a blast too! He couldn't catch up to me though....
All in all, a very great day in the beginning of the "new" money pit...lapping events!
By the way, I give mad props to all who've been racing a long time. All the little things you have to get right to make you quick is so demanding and challenging but it's so exciting and exhilarating when you get it right (only did that a few times)!!!
Sorry for the after pics but when you're driving it's kind of hard to take pictures or videos.

I'm glad to hear that you had a good time. That's a very fin track. I spent two wonderful days there in Sept '06. That was the only one of 4 schools I've been to with another RX-7, a Spec7 driven by my instructor on day 2. You should give the BMWCCA school in Spokane a try, it's 2 days on the weekend and they should have one coming up in October.

Well I've got a better deal for you. The 2 day weekend course at Spokane through the BMWCCA is $400 for 2 days including 2 lunches and a dinner. I've been there 3 times now, and it's a really good school. A long time friend of the family is also an instructor there.
