How Long to come up to speed?

Hey all, quick thread wondering how long it took to catch up to your cars potential. For me and my fd it was probably 2 years 5-6 track days a year, some 2 or 3 day schools. Went with instructors until signed off but took a while to get to anywhere near 10 10ths of the car, where a early apex meant a potential off track exit!! I still love everything about my car on the track every time i drive it. Will be at NHIS next weekend turning some fast laps. Also, tried the new Avon tire for the first time and liked it after it heated up and i got the pressures right. Have always used Victoracers.

I posted some great lap time in my FD right away. The downside is that I'm still trying to beat some of those time years later! humph

Have fun at your track event.
