Help me with SCCA class please
The car is an 85 RX-7 with an 88 n/a 13B in it using stand alone engine management. I run in Open Street for the local club but I don't know what that transfers to in SCCA classing. Apparently neither does anyone I've talked to recently either. All I've gotten by reading through stuff is that the class separation is hard to distinguish. Thanks all.

For Solo II classing that sounds like an F-Prepared or E-Mod car. Having a stand alone engine management puts you way beyond Stock and Street Prepared.
For Club racing you are looking at GT-2 class (if you meet the safety requirements).
I may be incorrect because I am going by a 2 year old GCR.

the only regional class would be Super Production(SP) or ITE if the region has these classes available. and again the safety requirements are a little more rigorous than and ITSor A car.

Well, apparently I'm going to be running in E modified since I don't have any heater or interior. This just gets better and better. Luckily there's another first gen in that class that can hopefully give me some pointers and help me out.
From now on I'm sticking to my local club.
