Cool Got Peripheral ? :)

Ok here is a photo and link to more pics of my new PP 13B housings.
They are Factory Mazda Comp PP housing with a touch of magic from Darryl Drummond !

Will soon have the engine completed and wil let you know what are the numbers on it.
I'm using RX8 rotors and e-shaft. And before you ask ! I'm using the new longer side Seals and the rotors are machined for a 3mm apex seal, and I'm using 20B bearings and stationaries, with turbo II side housings.
Hope you like it !

HMMM, interesting. I just came in from the shop where I was pouring the epoxy into the 89TII Front Iron I am using with the early 13B PP Housings.

Question: Did daryl chamfer the edges of the plug holes, or did the MFR's come like that?

The MFR came like that. I used to have Home made PP housing made from TII. The intake is an MFR too but Darel opened it to fit my 58 carb with a 52 PP intake.

Post some pics of your car sometime, or give us a link. I always wanted one of theose IMSA 1st gens. Had to settle for a SCCA EP car.

Very nice gallery, it's awesome to see that the car has found it's way into the right hands and will be back on the track where it belongs.

I now have PP envy......Very nice. Dry sump with remote oil filter setup. What oil cooler do your run? Carburator? What is the projected RWHP with that setup?

Hi Benny
looking at Your pictures i see that the dashpots for timing retard is still mounted on the distributor.
Do You race it with Timing Retard or is it locked at the 20 degrees like Mazdaspeed recommends?
If its locked! How did You go around doing that, reason im asking is that I lost my race distributor when my Racecar hauling Van was stolen and I never really looked at how it was done...

Man, Your car is awesome

I hope you get it running soon Benny ... maybe we can have a PP match race at a road race track some day! Too bad you live so far away. We had 10 GTU cars show up for the HSR Mitty at Road Atlanta May 1. There were 3 pp Mazda RX-7s versus 7 Porsches.

I vote for Sebring. I'll even pitch $5.00 into the "tow fund".
