A while back someone posted questioning the weight loss when removing the sound deadening tar and the AC equipment. I haven't seen any definitive findings so far, so I thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth.

This is off an 85 RX-7 GS

Emissions: 17 pounds - 1/2 of which is the air pump

A/C: 44 pounds - Compressor w/Bracket = 21 pounds

Tar: 16 pounds - Does not include the Carpet and Pad

Total: 77 pounds
