I haven't posted for a while! Been too busy with life, work, and the car. The chassis is a few weeks away from being painted. The last finishing touches are getting done such as mounted doors, cleaning welds and so on. I have attached a few pictures from the last month of work.

After seeing BigAl's car done, pretty excited to get mine done too!

I mounted the dry-break connector yesterday and put the body panels back on. Now the work on the body panels starts! As well going to start the plumbing and wiring so I can start it and run it and make sure no welding or brackets are needed before the chassis gets painted! See the light at the end of the tunnel!

Guys, I don't mean to criticize, I'm genuinely concerned about one of the pictures. The quickfill inlet is almost directly above the exhaust. as you know my car has the same quick fill, every time we fill, some fuel leaks, it's not much but it is enough to make it down to your exhaust. although your build is not a rotary, your exhaust will still be hot enough to ignite raw fuel! you should really consider relocating that inlet somewhere else! Please don't take these comments the wrong way, you've done a great job with your build and I'm simply expressing a genuine concern.

In addition I have done all the precautions. It might not look it, but any fuel out of there goes behind the rear fender and under the car.

It is a valid point and thank you for letting me know. But I have got it all covered!

By the way car is looking awesome! Can't wait to get mine on the track.

I have been working on a remote shifter to get the shifter closer to the steering wheel. Machined the base last night and mounted it. Today will work on the linkage.

And got the shifter done yesterday. Will work on the linkage today! Left the hard part for last.

Remounted the RacePak IQ3 so it is closer to the steering wheel and easily visible from the drive seat. As well the first dzus fasteners were mounted!

It is actually pretty roomy. That seat is huge (and I won't be using it, just for mock up). Anyways don't need much room in a race car anyways!

More sheet metal work and mounted the rear wing on a piece so it can be removed easier if needed to.

It has been a while since I posted an update here! I have been busy training for Ironman and was moving too which didn't help.

Anyways, I have the 8374 on its way, but we had a smaller 7064 with the same turbine housing that I figured put on to take some photos with. In addition I added the windshield support so the car is GT legal and can run lexan/poly windshield as well!

Ironman is next weekend and I will be back on this guy full time to get it done quick! The chassis is going for powder coating mid to end of September, so I have some long days of work coming for sure!
