Oh hecks YEAH!

My spare doesn't fit over any of my brakes so I dunno why I even keep it in the car. Ballast to keep the rear end planted during drag launches...LOL

Wait, let me check my crystal ball.
I'm seeing a knock version of this being made in the not so distant future.....

Another one of those things that looks really cool but I can't imagine a true purpose for. Especially for what I'm sure it costs!

Maybe you could hide your weed in there.

Because when you're at the track...you want to keep your expensive stuff (like a watch) locked in your car w/ you?

Worthless item IMO. And you can easily make it yourself.

Nice eye candy but not worth the 500+ it would probably cost to get the ultra smooth carbon fiber custom look.

Hmm, I thinking plywood and a master padlock... perhaps a nice duct^H^H^H^H racer-tape lamination on the surface. "JDM" written on it with a sharpie.

There's no reason for carbon fiber other then looks but it would serve a purpose if you have removed or using both storage bins behind the seats and since nothing is supposed to be loose on the track. A plastic cover would be fine. Tools in a pouch, flares, note book, rule book, air gauge, emergency kit, etc.

Maybe that makes me an old guy, but I think this is pretty cool.

It isn't necessariliy "for the track" because you'd remove it (or at least the stuff in it) at the track, and I bring a helluva lot more than that anyway... but it would be really nice for the street to keep your "emergency kit" in.., oil, premix, whatever... then you wouldn't have to put it one of the rear bins (one of which many of us have already lost due to battery relocation).

I agree. I'm sure it's too expensive for my blood, but I already planned on making something similar since I have now wiped out both bins for other usage. I wanted to make a nice foam cutout to store the items so they won't move around.

Things I was going to store:
Quart of Oil
Pre-Mix bottle
Pre-mix funnel
Couple screwdrivers and pliers
Small container of extra screws/bolts/nuts/washers
Small open space for other personal items

I like Maybe the folks at shineauto project could make something like this for us, if they're not too busy with carbon gas doors or rear sunshades that is.....

I think something like that would be really useful. I don't carry a spare and I could use the extra storage. I want one!

It doesn't have to be cf though, I'd take a cheap plastic one as long as it fits well.

BTW I looked this up on Feed's website, the MSRP is 41,790 yen or $347.

If anyone has a contact or knows someone who can make this out of molded ABS plastic or something, which would be pretty cheap and just as effective, they could make some money with this. I'd pay $100 for one.
