Dropping engine very low and behind the steering rack, cutting the firewall to get it back far enough. We will still need to have a bonnet scoop/mound

Engine is 358ci

We have a guy up here who did this with his race FD after determining that it was too difficult to compete, all the time, with his Turbo motor. He used an LS1 motor and is now making good pawer and torque and shockingly the aluminum LS1 motor is not that much different in weight to the fully optioned turbo that came out. I know its likened to be named a communist in mid 50's USA, but when my BP kacks I will seriously look at dropping an LS1 in my car. Cheap, fast and glorious sounds.

I am certain you will love the car, but start saving now for your tire bill, LOL. It should be a rocket.
