FC brake calipers and anti rattle springs

We are upgrading the brakes on our first gen ChumpCar to the second gen 4 piston brakes. The new calipers included some anti-rattle springs, for guys that race those cars do you use these or just run without them? I normally don’t use parts like this but in this case I have never used these calipers so I wanted to make sure.

They're certainly not a necessity.

I'd make some - or buy the exorbitantly priced stock shields - between the backing plate and the alloy pistons though, if missing those.
