Evolution Phase 1 autocross vids
I just came across these links from www.theracinglinemag.com. They give you a good idea of what the first level of driver training with the Evolution school is all about. Most roadrace guys tend to shun autox drivers as somehow second class but I'll continue to insist that you will learn more in the Evolution classes than any track day you've ever attended.

I wholly agree with Damon. The evolution school that I took has really stuck with me and almost instantly dropped my times about 1-2 secs on a 48-55 sec course. I had Pat Salerno, Rob Faulkner, and one other very good instructor at my school, this was about 4 yrs ago. As long as you go in with an open mind, not trying to show them what a badass you are, you will take a lot away from it. And a lot of seat time. We went on some good high perf street tires, to save the race rubber, and with two drivers, used at least 50% of it there. The one thing that I still use from them is looking through the turn. Rob was pushing on my helmet to get me to look farther into the turn, and it is like my head was connected to the steering wheel. It is amazing how simply looking where you want to go, not where you are going, will pull you through a turn.

I just completed an "Evolutionize" weekend with them. Pat was there along with Tim Aro. I also am breaking into road racing and cannot express how much the skills taught to me in AX has given me a leg up on other "novices".
The Evolutionize school was a Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 and driver/instructor challange. It was very helpful and I found the Challange to be a real eye opener. You have to be comfortable with some one else taking you car to it full limits. My battle with Tim convinced me I need to attend some Natl. tour events and possibly Topeka.
Someone E-mailed me a vid from that site I have no idea who.
My highlight from the weekend was to get to drive a 2005 GT3 it was amazing!! My car is still faster.

I took Phase 1&2 last summer... Great experiance, I found it didnt make the claimed 1-2seconds off my lap times, but thats not to say that I didnt have things to work on for the rest of the season.
Id honestly have liked MORE seat time tho. Im very likely going to take the step to solo1 this coming season as solo2 isnt near the seat time id like. but that really has nothing to do with the evolution school.
