you will need lava rock muffler and plus another muffler to quite it down. on my 13B PP I am using only one lava rock muffler. my db at idile is 100

on dont bother use any thing else( been there done that) they either kill your HP or will melt anther only 1-2hr of use

to buy the Lava Rock muffler from Mazda's factory racing parts department:
0000-06-9101-LR 3" inlet and outlet $408.90
http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/wcs...-06-9101-LR.jpg

you must be a real racer, with real printed race track results, in order to buy race parts from Mazda. If you have autocross results sheets or quarter mile slips that you can send them, then you are eligible to register with Mazda and buy their parts at discount prices.

What distance are you talking about? C-weighted or A-weighted decibels?
