Carbie Questions
Okay, you guys will have to forgive me, I'm a newb
But I'm getting an old '84 back on the road and I'm pretty sure I need a new carb. I read in some other threads that if I wanna street port it, I'm best to upgrade my carb now to a Weber or Holley...
What I'm asking is : I know NOTHING about carbs. What am I looking for?
And any guys in the Ottawa area who are interested in helping a student fix up an old Rex, post here or PM me.. I'd love to have any help you could give

If you want a good setup that is easy and cheaper to get parts for and is still in production just go to racing beats web site and order one of their modified hollys. Or you can go and find paul yaws web site ( yaw power) and do some research on his site and send you carb to him and have it modified. it take a few months to have it done but he does REALY good work from what I hear and every one has been satisfied.
