Best SCCA Class For Beginners?
We are tryin to start a RX-7 club here in my hometown, and a project car would be a great way to all get together. I have accepted the fact that no one is gonna buy my FC w/ it's blown engine, so I am thinkin of dontaing it to our cause, and makin her a race car (but I will have a TII for myself). Any opnions?

If it's a FC then run ITS and the car has to be NA. www.scca.org buy a copy of the genral comp. rules and start building the car!

Yellow Dragon is no more
Run whatever class your mods put you in .... Just make a point to do lots of auto-x and you will find yourself getting more and more competive. If you are talking road race ... go take some road race classes where you can get an instructor and you will see good results after a couple of schools.

What about TAMSCC? I know their actual events are few and far between, but if they get enough people, I'm sure they would hold more auto-x, track days, and practice events. Maybe hookup with them and get some free advertisement. Just a thought.
