^^ CrispyRX7 did that also (oil cooler vent/screen). Check out his site. Probably the single best reference for track driven RX7s.

Yeah thats where I got that idea from. He has LOTS of good info. I just haven't seen any feedback on if it helped or not.

I run an AFCO 26" x 19" dual pass radiator in my race car. The rad sounds very close to the AWR rad. I had to TIG on the mounts and it uses stock rad hoses with a small extension in the top. The oil cooler and rad are ducted from the splitter. I've run an hour at 14 lbs of boost driving hard with no cooling issues.
