that's wierd
I had a link to the spyder forum, apparently some people there who auto-x have had their insurance cancelled, just for participating in auto-x.

Is this stemming from the story about the Boxster S that dumb-assed his way off-course into a tree and claimed it? When I first read that email, I couldn't believe that anyone was that stupid or that out-of-control with his foot still in it. The email story says this yahoo claimed the 'accident' with Progressive ... so maybe there is some ounce of truth to that story.

I will be making sure my full name and car model does not appear on any public list of competition results. My insurance company tried to get out of a THEFT claim because they thought I raced my car.
