Anyone have experience with either of these seats?

I am about to make my purchase for my drivers seat. The two seats I am going back and forth on are the OMP WRC -H Type seen here
http://www.motorspotstore.com/wrchtype.html

and the Cobra suzuka seat seen here
http://www.winecountrymotorsports.co...roducts_id=330

Either seat I get will be mounted to the floor to allow for maximum helmet clearance. I was able to compare the OMP seat to the Sparco EVO by size charts and the OMP is smaller in almost every dimension which is great. I wasn't able to find a size chart for the cobra though.

Does anybody have any personal experience with either of these seats. I am primarily concerned with comfort and heat room but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since you're in Dallas, there must be some stores there that sell seats, best bet is to find them and go try on as many seats as possible. Seats are like shoes, the only way to know for sure that one will fit you properly is to sit in it. Also try local autocrosses and road race events, most people will let you sit in their seats if you ask.

I have the Cobra Evolution in my car and have driven a friend's car with the Suzuka. Both were comfortable enough that I wasn't thinking about the seat at all while driving. Standard width is fairly narrow but I still have an inch or so to spare with a 30" waist. I chose the Evo over the Suzuka so I wouldn't have to install a center net.

I have used the Suzuka for about the last 6 years in various racecars (I take it with me)...I love it and it is by far the most comfortable seat I have used. Beware though, it is fairly thin - I am 5'10" about 165lbs and it fits me perfectly - any 'wider' and you might have a hard time, I think they have a GT version available.

I am 5'9" 147lbs with a 29" waist so I definitely want the smallest thing I can find
