you can make one at home for about 50 bucks out of styrofoam cardboard and fiberglass. Cut the shape of the two vertical pieces out of foam, attach it to a formed sheet of carboard/ wood/ aluminum, etc.. to make the flat splitter piece, cover the whole thing in fiberglass cloth and resin (bought at any auto parts store), sand it down and put some bondo and paint on it to make it look nice, bolt it on and go racing.

I've been thinking about adding "build a splitter" to the never-ending list of off-season work to be done on the race car.
I've seen a bunch about how to build them, and it doesn't seem that complicated.
Only one (relatively minor) thing I can't seem to find is, how are people mounting them? Especially if they are actually getting downforce on them.
I assume you want/need to do more than just drill some self-tapping screws up into the bumper, don't you?

I'm not sure if that one you posted in the pic is the ISCR splitter, but here is a link to theirs, and with the mounting kit and shipping it will be right around $300. I was thinking about getting this one and not purchasing the mount kit to see if i can do it cheaper........
