im going to try and make it to the houston one to compete (still have alot of work to do on the car and practice in the parking lots with cones!) if the entry fee is not too expensive and if my car is prepared correctly. anyone else scrambling to prepare?

 

Kell from Hawaii is, he has a fc which will have a different engien in it (fairly unique). he will probally have the spindle mod as well as he is the one which came up with the idea/actually fabricated the first one (well that i have seen).

 

If any were closer to me, I would give it a shot.

 

im beginning to think i may not have enough seat time to qualify for the D1 competition.... im not bad, but ive been hearing rumors that the people competing have been competitively drifting for 5 years+..... that compared to my 1 1/2 of practice....well i still want to make it down there to houston when the time comes to see how i stack up and hopefully get some pointers from pros... maybe they'll have an open session, or a novice session..

 

guys here in hawaii have been doing it for over 6 years and they are so-so compared to the japan guys
