NO PS isnt that bad, but i think its easier to Auto-X with it. Just remove the belt and try it for an even see if you like it.

I do it with a car equipped with PS but the belt removed. I like it better that way so I took the belt off (daily driven with no belt also). I have never had any trouble with it. The only time when I would prefer having PS is at less than 5mph.
