any problems with these diameters?

I am considering running the followng tire set-up, andn I'd like some feedback on any problems I may encounter due to substantially different diameters. The plan;
16x10 W/23.5x10.5x16 front
16x12 W/25.5 x 12 x 16 Rear
The reason for these sizes is availability, and economy. I can buy these in a top of the line Goodyear radial slick, they are the shortest radial slicks in those widths I am aware of, and I can get scrubs for cheap.
The alternative are Bias ply 23.3x10.5x16, and 24.6x12x16. I have been told that the Radials are faster, and more consistent throughout their life, and that they will outlast the Bias ply. For this reason I am tending towards the radials. I also think that since I've always driven radials(DOT), the learning curve will be shorter. Opinions based on personal experience are what I am looking for. Cost is not part of the equation as the Radials will cost me the same as the Bias ply. Thanks, Carl
