Aeromotive A1000 install

This is for a 2nd generation T2, i have the pump already i did some research and found a good thread of a set up in 04 but it was for an fd. I also saw a thread for the 1st gen but they dont have in tank pumps.

I simply need to know what to do to make my a1000 work.

i guess the easiest way for me to do this will be for me to modify my stock tank for a sump

cant you use the stock pump mount and everything and make a custom hardline / bracket that holds the pickup where it is now, just without the stock pump? thatss what id do atleast

huum maybe extend the pick up tube a couple more inches down the tank with a filter sounds godd^^^

Yes I believe aaron cake did a similar setup.

Basically turned the sending unit/pump bracket into a bracket for a "straw" with a filter attached to the end. Install some 90* AN fittings in the top, ran them to the mounted pump and Bob's-your-uncle.

I like the setup pictured above though.....very nice.
