Additional Enginebay Cooling Question

Hello all, I had a quick question in the ever growing need for engine compartment circulation. Currently I am running the RE-Amemiya AD9 hood, and am looking into getting the vented RE-Amemiya headlight kit.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with this "vented" headlight kit? It removes the low beams (on the dual vented kit), and replaces it with an open vent into the engine bay, and puts HID for the highbeams. The ducting that comes with it, would aim the air at the stock intercooler and intake area (from both sides with the dual vente headlights). Of course, custom ducting can be done to vent the air to any direction in the engine bay. My only gripe, is that, with a vented hood, would this air just get sucked out of the vents, essentially wasting about $2100? If anyone can shed some light in the effectiveness of this mod in conjunction with a vented hood, please do, as I would like to do it, but only if it really serves a purpose. thanks in advance!

I personally don' t have this set up. But ideally you want to ram the air directly into your turbos. Or have the ducting right up to the filters. You can see same type of set up in drag cars with a big hole in their bumpers.
