So as many of you may have read...I'm building a PP for my Rx2. Monster for the wedding machine (yes...wedding clothes will be in another car@!) My engine builder seems to like my specs , but just to get some extra info.

The motor is a '86 and above. TII housings with P-port sleaves. Using Full FD rotating assembly with deep grooves, 3-window stationary parts, modified oil reg for high performance punp. reg, and the usual stuff. The FD rotors are stock, but balanced, using 2mm Hurley seals. Them liimit will be in the 9500 to the occasional pull to 10K. Custom thick wall equal length headers to a homemade muff in the middle to the Rotaflo. SE box until it blows followed by a T2 or Jerico. Weleded diff, or if the funds permit, the Guru LSD.

I may lose a few HP using the FD rotors, but since it will be an occasional street car, who cares.

Carb will be a 62MM Terminator so fuel will not be a problem.

Not a single bit of advice? Yes I know serious racers here love to keep their specs secret...but will this be worthwhile to build?

 

Hell yeah, go for it. The only thing I would recommend is getting the N/A high compression rotors and beef up your drivetrain. Your stock axles are going to snap if you plan on using slicks/even street slicks. Been there and done that. I broke two axles using street slicks.The stock rx2 axles are very soft-crap. Good luck. If you dont plan on turbo, i would get some n/a rotors and have them lightened to be able to be used with the fd counterweights and whatnot. but if you do plan on turbo in the future the fd rotors are what you are looking for most likely.

or we dont know! i'm doing a 12a PP, and ive done a lot of reading. most advise on here is either not enough, or its contradicted later, to be helpful.

which is why its the final frontier. exhaust seems particularly cruicual. loud and slow is easy, loud and fast is harder....

 

Would the Moser axles be up to snuff ya think?
