2nd Gen Roll Cage (Question)
Hi I have a 6 point roll cage in my second gen Rx7. I am having a problem with my helment clearence wiht the top head bar. My head is 2 cm away from the bar. I have a bucket seat with the insulation removed to bring the ride hieght lower but i still can't fit my helment safely.
So my question is how do second gen owners go about in fixing this problem? Custom seat rails? Or cutout the floor pan and weld in a flat pan with a seat rail, lowering the seat?

If you have an after market steering wheel try putting a spacer behind it and then reclining the seat some. This will also help teach you to look farther down the track. In my car I can't see the hood at all and my line of sight is just above the wheel on a modified column. I have about six inches from the top of my helmet to the roof
