2003 8/3 at willow spring street CCW

TOOk my car to test last suday. car runing very good. I like my new radiator . the oil temp still run pretty hight 240F (at 90+ temp). THE best time I got at that day was 1.39.5xx. still need imporvent. but pretty good for first time with my FC

Glad you had fun @ Willow!!!!

240F oil is too hot. remove the oil cooler and have it sonic cleaned and pressure tested.

Theres a shop in Carson on Main street that does sonic cleaning. Named Lanfried or Lanfreid. Also go by the name "sonic cleanng". Fifty bucks.

Test the thermostat in the oil cooler, make sure it opens.

Spray self expanding foam in all the cracks and crevices in the nose of car. Seal it up so that air MUST go through oil cooler or radiator. This dropped my temps 10 degrees! I buy mine at OSH. Red and white can. It expands 100% when it dries so spray conservatively. Latex gloves.

Royal Purple oil should lower temps another 5-10*F.

rebuild my oil cooler already. sonic cleaning, fix the fins etc. I will make a new ducting for my oil cooler and radiator. if this doesnt help. I migh add another oil cooler? during all day sunday the oil will went to 240 F and stay there doesnt seen to be increase any more ? I already use RED LINE 20W-50 oil.
