Anyone know where exhuastnoteV2 might be? Purchased a downpipe from him a bit ago and he has not confirmed shipment.

How long ago was this? I did some transactions with him a while back. Didn't seem like a bad guy.

 

The final payment was sent just about 2 and a half to three weeks ago. I did tell him to take his time with shipping it out, but he has not responded to any of my inquiries.

I'm just not sure if he has some issues going on in his personal life. I don't want to trash him, as you are right, seems like a decent guy.

His last log on here was 11/15/2011.

Hope he comes on soon.

He acknowledged payment in a response to me thru paypal, so I am positive he knows I am waiting on this.

So where do I go from here? Last communication was on November 6th. He has not logged on here since November 15th and he has just about $600 of my money.

Do I seek help from the moderators, or start a buy guy thread, or both? Idealy I would like the part I paid for, but obviously if that can't happen then money needs to be returned.

All help and advice is appreciated.

I can try and contact him over AIM next time I'm on my home desktop. Weird that he just disappeared, I don't think he's the kind of guy to rip anyone off.

In the mean time I can freeze his classifieds threads.

Edit: looks like he has done a lot of selling here in the last year with no real issues that I can see. Hopefully some of the local Cali guys who know him see this thread and chime in.

He certainly doesn't seem like the type to do this, but I know it takes all kinds. I just want to make sure I am not adding anymore burden on him, especially if he has an issue going on with his personal life.

Japan2LA: I do not have his personal email address. If you feel comfortable giving it out, them I would be very appreciative.

Rich: If you do see him on AIM, I would kindly ask that he just get the part mailed out. We made an arrangement for the purchase of this item and he was gracious enough to accomodate, so I have to respect him for that. All in all, I would just like the part.

Well Mods and anyone else with advice, no reply from any of my PMs, no reply from a personal email, and no reply from this thread and the one I posted in the "West forum".

Do I commence with the paypal dispute? I want to add that my payments to him were under "payment owed", so will that have ill affects when I try to make a claim? Not to mention the time frame from first payment to the last one.

Help is appreciated.

i bought a rollcage on pmts like that,luckily everything worked out,i believe there is a 45 day timeframe on disputes,however,if you contact paypal and explain it to them,and they can clearly tell that all the pmts were for one item and you can show that it hasnt been shipped then hopefully they will mark all pmts under the dispute,you need to talk to a human,not their crappy automated systym,took me 30 min. to do that before when i wanted to use a relatives credit card to buy something on ebay good luck!

Gonna have to get everything in order and try and give Paypal a shout tomorrow. I just have a bad feeling that they might say something about it being a personal payment, and not capable of enforcing a dispute.

I'll certainly give them a call though.
