now back to our issue, the truth is that I was going to take the loss and refund you the money, even though that is NOT my responsibilities. it is post office's responsibilities to investigate, and refund me, then I refund you. just like you said.

I've never said I won't help you to track the package. I went to post office, and told you what they told me. if you keep your mouth shut for a second, and read all our PMs.

it was your attitude causing all these. you can't just blaim on me while I was trying to help. just like people said, it will take sometime for post office to sort out things. what happen if the OMP finally make its way to you?

I was sharing the truth with people, and you started this bad mouthing. if you want your money back, you better say something nicer. I was too nice to you for not starting a post to say you scam!!!

I've been reading this thing since Fong posted it and i kinda felt like he was getting a raw deal he tried to sqaure with everyone and has been more than polite and calm, Im getting a good impresion of his character by how he has handled this and posted about it and how he is trying to get a fair resolution for it and i think in the end hes still going to look better, Marcel im sorry man i dont know honestly what to say but calm down a little collect your thoughts and post somthing more pertent to the problem instead of an angry rant, and best of luck to both of you on squaring it away

Fong IS staying calm and you would get agood impression of him and he will look better , you know why ? , he has my money and he has the part (maybe I dont know , but I do know that I do not have it !) . I have kept my cool and pm'd him over and over again for more than a month , this transaction was supposed to take no more than a week ! all that time he is saying to me that its the post office / post mans fault . fine if the post man lost it then tell me what really happened and we'll settle it ! , dont tell me that "you dont know me and its possible that I have it and I'm trying to get a free part ! , I would not have promptly paid him if I wanted a free part ! it just makes no sense ! dont try to make it look like I want to steal a USED omp from you ! dont call me racial names ! that is disrespestfull and childish , I only lost my cool when I began to read his **** and after I saw people actually supporting him ! if something like this were to happen to any of them I'm sure they'll be pissed too.
If you read rx7 Doctor's posts you'll understand what i'm saying , you'll realize that he is a mature and honest person like myself , he did not resort to the foolish and aggrevating name calling , not one of you actually pay attention to the facts , you are quick to say " I bought from him and there was no problem " , but the fact is I am having a problem with him now ! , may be you did not have a problem because everything went smoothe , a good seller is also judged by what he does when things go wrong !
If you read my other Circuit Theory thread , you will see that he owes me twice th amount for six months , ask him if I blew up on him , ask nim if I cussed him once ....the answer is no , not once , this is because he responded differently to Mr Fong , you cannot be "wrong and strong" you have to realize something is wrong and try and fix it , if you cant do that then dont sell anything to anyone , because something always goes wrong !
At the end of this I really dont care how you think I look or what U think about me ! , as we say down here " you are not a cent in my dollar " , but I am sure mr Fong will change the way he does business and he'll treat people with more courtesy and respect other forum members might benefit from it all .

Dude you started the name calling, you did blow up, and honest MATURE people don't throw out about 20 bolded up cuss words and racial slurs, maybe an honest person but not a mature one, i understand your frustration believe me i do, but with posts similar to the one above this i believe you will get a lot farther as opposed to the constant bickering and name calling and saying. Also i would avoid accusations as he has, he hasn't outright said YOU ARE A THIEF or YOU LIAR, he has eluded to the possibility but never directly accused unlike somone elses posts "he has my money and he has the part (maybe I dont know , but I do know that I do not have it !)"

alright, enough is enough. I don't mean to start another gabage fight here for anyone. I started the post to seek any suggestions to have better seller protection when the carrier really is the fault guy who lost the package here. also, want to warn people about the case.

after all the replies, I think it is better always to have a confirmation/tracking#. but it is even better to do signature delivery. that will reduce the risk like this happen.

Marcel, I believe that you are honest guy that didn't lie to me about not receiving the package, and I believe that you make huge money, and really like to straight this out while I am still waiting for the response from post office after the two trips to post office. I guess that you don't want to wait.

Then, I think that we all have better things to do, like you can stay focus on your thousands dollars project, and I can get back to my normal life. To resolve this, I will REFUND you the money for PART only. The shipping cost and the paypal fee will not be refunded, basic on the fact I already shipped it out. if ever you receive the part finally, Please be a honest guy like you claim, and send me the money I refund you.

hopefully, that is fair game for us.

Marcel, basic on your reply in your own post, I will say to forget about checking with post office.

1)it will take sometimes for them to retrun any valid answer.
2)basic on 1), I don't want to hold up your project.
3)it will be my third trip to post office. I don't want to spend the time/gas money for that little matter, cuz the manager already knows me.
4)you told me that you want to wait in here, but you said that you want refund in the other post. which is which?

so, I offer you the refund for part, just let me know you take it or not. very simple solution. I am not going to check the post office again. it was my mistake for not having the delivery confirmation at the first time. very good lesson.

while I still don't understand that you still need the pump after waited for so long time. if I were you making 6gs a month, I would have got a new pump or from someone else to get the car running, instead of waiting. you really have a lot of time for this.

Fong, A tip for you. You do not have to keep running to the post office. That's all you have to do is have the post masters name and the phone number to that branch which that person will give you. Then you call every 3 days or so and follow up with the situation. That is what I had to do once.

I tried to send this guy the refund via paypal, then got this from paypal:
"Currently PayPal accounts in Trinidad and Tobago are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds."

I don't know what happen. but marcel, it is not like I don't want to refund you, you want to fix whatever issue so that I can refund you.

also, I don't know how you're going to sell stuff when your paypal is blocking incoming fund. I guess you do Money order, but I don't want to send you the money order, in case the same thing happen.
