RXtcs5 ripped me off
sorry my last thread was a bit jumbled i was very pissed when i wrote it, and now it won't let me delete or edit it so i've started a new one
i bought these tokico illuminas with mk1 coilovers from him in personfor $445: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=610354
i can't argue the mileage , but one of the rear shocks is blown, it doesn't leak but it has very noticable slop in the bound and rebound. also he didn't mention till i got there all the adjusting #'s and ***** are gone making it almost impossible to adjust. he did let me know a couple of the ***** were gone but not all of them and not the #'s. also when adjusting the one with a ****,it lets out a small hiss of gas sometimes which i assume is not good either.
i'm currently out $445 dollars, he has finally responded to my e-mails but refuses to give me a refund, he states that because we did the transaction in person and i saw what i was buying i did not get ripped off, but i did not agree to buy something thats broken,
is there anyway other than taking him to small claims court to get my money back?

don't tokicos have a lifetime warranty that states basically if they aren't bent or some crazy **** they will replace it? Not sure if thats true just heard that from a friend of mine. Also see if you can get the ***** from ebay or thier website. I'm sure you can get them somewhere. Just trying to think of a way you can fix it. Good luck.

Dear Greg,
First of all, I would remind you that you have received responses to your various e-mails, maybe not all of them, but definatly the important ones. The fact is, you saw detailed pictures of the suspension, then came to inspect them in person and decided to purchase them at that time. I sold the suspension to you in good faith and upon my inspection everything was sound. Is it possible you damaged something in your "prepping" process? It seems to me you just have "buyer's remorse". The law is on my side. It states: Buyer Beware.
I should warn you, if my girlfriend begins to receive any mail or visits from you at her residence, the authorities will definitley be called. furthermore, I will be checking with our family lawyer to see if further correspondence in this tone and manner should be considered harrassment. Copies of all your e-mails are being saved as evidence.
