So, I bought a dellorto 48 sidedraft carb and manifold for a 12a for $450 shipped. Lt. Dan and I agreed on the deal and I sent him a money order. He got it exactly one month ago (June 5th) and said it would be shipped in 1-2 days and I would have a tracking number.
On June 15th, he claims that USPS refused to ship it due to hazardous fumes. Okay. He says he cleaned it out and repackaged it and it's waiting on the UPS guy. He says he'll have a tracking number also.
This is the last I heard from him. I've tried pm'ing him and sending him e-mails.He hasn't been on since June 16th.
Is anybody in contact with him or know him personally? If so, could you get a hold of him and get him to send the carb? I read another post where a very similar incident happened and he eventually surfaced and sent a refund to the guy, so I don't want to go shitting all over his name.

Why not hit him up on his AIM name? It's listed in his profile. I wouldn't see him doing this on purpose so try there.

Thanks, BigPimpin'! Like I said, I don't want to go shitting all over his name. I've read all good posts execpt for that one and he refunded the guy. He even said he forgot about the guys order, so I'm just trying to remind him.

 

I wish I had a good expeirence dealing w/ Lt. Dan but ..... I didnt. However that was the 1st and last time a dealt w/ him. If others say good things about him then maybe they're right.

 

Ok, the carb finally came today, albeit a little bruised from shipping. Everything is in order. Lt. Dan is a good guy in my books, just a little slow for my taste.
