I recently purchased Side Air Vents for a 84GSL from MalditoNYC.
The seller Posted that they where for Left and Right Side.
I received 2 Driver Sides and after repeated request to either correct this or refund the $25.00 + Shipping he basicaly told me that I was Screwed and good luck on getting a Refund. I even offerd to eat the $5.00 shipping to send them back to him.
I contacted PayPal about this situation and they where not much help either.
So much for trusting a fellow RX Owner!!! (Not All)
This makes the 3rd time I have been Ripped Off when buying items on this Site.
But the good news is that I also have experenced some good buying and selling items here.
To bad that there are a few people out there that can Sleep Well after a RipOff.

Agreed. If he didn't start this thread, then the next victim may have been taken for much more than 25 bucks. Now we all know to look out for MalditoNYC.

 

this is not over just 25.00 bucks but the avgerage man who makes 10.00 hr had to work 2.5 hours for that 25.00 bucks and i know i dont like to work for free thats that ...now for (assuming that this all true) 84GSL selling items that is not decribed is BULLSHIT if now the the customer is not happy for what ever reason you should REFUND the money back if that is what the customer wants.give the guy his money back you pos you are known for scamming and those guys need to do one thing give the money then go to the highest building open the window and ******* jump out of it that my 2 cents .i will be watching this post for updates........SLO

Actually it was more like $32.50 w/shipping.
Maybe to some that does not sound like alot of $$$.
It's just that now after the 3rd time the Total that I have been shorted from some Bad People here comes to $415.00.
Fellow Members; Find out what you can from the seller before laying out your CASH.
As for PayPal they did help get part of my money back on 1 of the purchases. $250.00 ... Other than that= There not much help.

WOW. This transaction happened over 2 1/2 months ago first of all, NOT recently like you say. You ONLY sent $25.00, (I have the paypal proof) NOT A PENNY MORE and NOT 32.50, and to be even more exact, it was on february 9, 2007 that you sent the $25.00. I keep records of everything just because of buyers like this. I never told you to screw yourself, or good luck about getting a refund, SO, DON'T LIE. People that know me, know I'm not that kind of person unless instigated, YES, LIKE NOW. So Let's see, without anyone even reading my side of the story, everyone knows you just lied 3 times. You got two vents just as in the picture, and just as was described to you. No more, no less. I even remember trying to help you out but you were insistent on sending them back for no reason, even when I told you I was going to send you another one free of charge, and at my expense. Go figure what he was up to???

Received payment on Feb. 9, 2007, $25.00 - Paypal fee 1.03 = 23.97, minus the few dollars shipping and delivery confirmation, I probably ended up with like around $18.00 give or take a few cents. Was it worth it, NO. This is exactly why I prefer to sell in person and not ship anything, I always insist on local pick-up, but..........................
