Thumbs down Japan2LA is a terrible seller and a LIAR

Japan2LA sold me some parts for my rebuild (1 housing and 2 rotors). I sent the payment immediately after we agreed upon the pricing. After the parts didn't show up for 3 weeks, I sent him a PM asking him where my parts were. He said that he 'forgot', and would ship them out UPS 2-day and send me the tracking number. 2 days later I had no parts and no tracking number and he wasn't responding to his PMs, so I decided to file a complaint with Paypal.

He e-mailed me, telling me he was very sorry and that he would refund my money and send me the parts for free (as long as I kept it a secret). Well I eventually got my money back, but I sure as hell never saw any of the parts he promised me. My car was sitting in my engine builders shop for a MONTH while I was waiting for these damn parts. Anyways, Japan2LA claims he never got any of the e-mails I sent after he offered the parts to me for free, and that he had already 'moved on' from his offer and had nothing further left to discuss with me.

I told people to steer clear of him in the For Sale forum whenever he'd pop in to various threads and try to peddle his wares. He sent me the following PM:

Subject: You are a little BITCH
Body: I read what you wrote.. i guess you are angry because I resended my offer to give you the parts for free... Anyway, keep it up I will be in Texas Next month...

Yeah, very professional attitude.

Steer clear of this a-hole.

Inform the idiot that they have really nice jails in Texas and don't have liberal mommy state laws like California. In so many words he's already made an implied physical threat, meaning that it's more than fair to assume you are in immediate physical danger of harm if he were ever to approach you, BANG BANG. Did they ever pass that law in Texas allowing you to shoot and kill car jackers?

No, I'm pissed because he lied to me and wasted a month of my time and my engine builders time while I was waiting for my parts.

I think he's pissed that he spent a month on this ordeal and still doesn't have any engine parts to complete his rebuild. Not everyone is like you, me and Jimlab and don't care if their cars are broken for years.

I do think the "following him in each thread" part is a bit over the top, but making a post here about the experience is justified.

I've dealt with Japan2LA a couple times. Always had smooth transactions. Sucks that yours wasn't so great but at least you got your $ back.

This transaction went south during my 3.5 week Vendor status issue with the owners of this site (remember I was banned/blocked). He posted a GGBB thread about me during that time. I was blocked banned from the site for almost a month, my hands where tied. As soon as he posted the GGBG thread, I issued him a full refund thru PAYPAL and offered him the parts for free on a condition. The condition was to go back to the thread he started and STATE the fact that I had already issued a full refund, and in a show of good faith, I was going to give him the $650.00 worth of parts for free. I was still banned and was not able to answer/respond to his thread. SEVERAL other members who know me VERY well in that thread told him what was going on, ( VENDOR BAN) and confirmed that I do not run off with peoples money like he was saying I did.

He never respond to my offer, he never had to file a claim with PAYPAL, he had his FULL refund and there WAS a deal on the table for him to get the stuff..$650.00 worth of parts for free.. All he had to do was post that he had his money back and that the GGBG thread was a FALSE alarm. HE DID NOTHING! and did not even respond to my emails I sent DIRECTLY to his personal email address.

After the VENDOR issue was resolved and I was back on the site, he PMed me and emailed me asking IF my offer was still on the table for the free parts.. I simply said no........

This OBVIOUSLY made him angry as he then decided to post in another thread an absolute LIE.
Here is the other thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=612937

Here is what he wrote: " Don't buy from Japan2LA, he'll rip you off "

Even jamespond24 was confused by his post in that thread.

I read it and responded to him thru a PM.

Yes I called him a "little BITCH" because that was exactly what he was acting like by writing that lie about me. And I did tell him that I would be in TEXAS soon (One of my best friends just bought a house near DALLAS) This simply meant that I do not have a problem resolving this matter face to face.

He responded to my PM and at that point I let it go. He knocked the bullshit off for about 2 weeks but now he is back to being a little BITCH.. I guess his feeling are still hurting..

End of story

I bought a ton of bolts and turbo parts from Japan2LA a while ago. They came quick, and nothing was missing. Sorry you had problems with your transaction.

As have I. From the point of view of a seller, I concur that the buyer is being a bitch.

I don't mean to take sides, but I'm a customer of Brian's and have never had a problem. Infact, he went above and beyond during our last transaction. Thumbs up from me.

If y'all dont mind, I'm closing this thread. I dont see one thing wrong with what japan2la did here, except for the insulting and veiled threat about coming to Texas--Please, lets not get into crap like that on the forum. Japan2la refunded the guy's money and even offered to go a huge step further that no one does--and even though that didnt work out, I cannot see any reason for this thread in the first place, certainly not appropriate to be calling this seller a liar and such. Many sellers dont even get the money back to the buyer, and certainly most dont do it as quickly as he did in this case.
