tough luck on the bad sale..both sides got their point..but dont get bitchy about a customer wanting as much info as he can before dumping a whole lot of money into your product. and thats that

handle it professionally or dont handle it at all
These are not engines under hoods. They are engines that can collect dust and debris. If how clean a motor determines its internal quality. Let me polish up a couple of blown motors and I sell them for a nice price.

Japan2La has a seal of approval.

Its up to the buyer to except that seal and his trust.

You guys keep saying that the pictures don't look like a 30k engine, you have to think about the travel here from Japan. Salt and moving aroung does not make a pretty engine! I myself have bought many engines from Brian and have had great results. As for compression #'s I test the engines when I get them and all have been over 100 psi. Many forum members can contest to this. I would have no issues buying from Brian. Great seller and Buyier.
Thanks Robert

Not a 30k engine just from the pictures? Wow, are you people high? There are some serious bitches on this forum. Do a little searching and you can find some engines that have less miles than that and look a hell of alot worse. Not to mention the ones that look fine but are blown. *cough* OSAKA JDM *cough*

Why are people bitching about exact compression numbers? This is a USED engine that Brian already guaranteed 100+psi on all faces..... Is that not enough? If the buyer gets the engine and it tests lower, I have no doubt that Brian would make it right. Writing down comp numbers can, like brian said, get you into hot water if for some reason it tests a few psi off when the buyer tests it in completely differenty conditions. I see no problem with testing an engine and calling it a day after seeing over 100psi all around and just guaranteeing 100+psi on all faces.

So we have a 100+psi guarantee on all faces + the pics of those engines which to me look fine for a ~30k mile engine given the fact thats its an imported engine. The only thing missing is pics of a transmission which is probably burried in Brians garage, so thats understandable. Plus I dunno how hard it is to verify no grinding etc. of a transmission without putting it in a car. I'm sure if there was a problem with the trans Brian would have made that right too.

Sorry but I gotta rule in favor of Brian on this one.

oh, yeah that was my bad
i forgot the trip from japan to the US included sandstorms, salt attacks, months of sitting, and some good ol oil splatter all over the place.
underneath that must be one clean pretty running motor

did i ever say how clean a motor looks determines internal quality?
please read closer and i said that doesnt look like a 30k mile motor.
i maybe be wrong, but thats my assumption from looking at the photo.

and you cleaning up a blown motor and selling at a "nice" price means youre just a common scammer.

but you cleaning up a good running motor thats dirty and selling, makes you a smart seller and get best price sold for your goods.
im sure you get the differences.

even IF the buyer accepts japan2la's trust/seal of approval, and comp tests lower than near 100 psi on each face, would japan2la cover costs to ship it back and shipping for another one? if he does cover all that, i have nothing else to say and thats one hell of a guarantee

Ok
1. I am not a Scammer its call sarcasm
2. You can't determine a motors mileage just by looking at it

I lived by the beach. In a couple of hours salt air can leave an oily/sandy surface on my car. Think about the motor people taking them out and oil and nicks.

Japan2La sells motors and I don't think he has time to clean up motors and transmission all day.To really clean these motors u have to pressure wash them...which is probably worse in my opinion.

There is a reason why most they cars are under 50k 40k or 30k from Japan.

Its the LAW!

When you buy something used thats the risk you take.

Its better to pay to ship it back.
They usually cover cost to ship it back.

And your not stuck with a dead motor like other places.

Once again.

If don't want the motor...there are other place to get it.

Period.
