I never had a problem with anyone. all the deals that i had, buying and selling went great all theese years


about 2 weeks ago i was supposed to receive a deposit for the brake kit i have for sale from ILoveMyRX7.
The deal was to send a deposit of 500$ now and the rest by the end of april


, I wanted to confirm that everything was going according to plan so i message him and ask him the day the payment was supposed to come if everything was ok.
I get the response so i waited for the deposit. Nothing came

next morning, i send a pm asking if he backed out. he sais no but he has an issue with paypal...

I had problems with paypal myself in the past so i was thinking yeah he might right, i didnt take the whole situation serious or never thought that this guy wants to kill some time online.

Few days later i give him my details to send me a cheque if paypal was not a good way. Still nothing,

So after 2 weeks of patience i tell him, " you either send the payment today or stop wasting my time"(and what payment? something small just to confirm that this guy is serious) And now our conversation has gotten to a whole different level of me being a scammer or whatever and im trying to rush the sale..


I mnot trying to rush the sale but when you said you will send the money and 2 weeks passed and i get nothing from you. sorry pal but you are wasting my time

His special request was also to have the brakes shipped to me in NY and ship them to him in cali,
Which not only increases my costs by quite a lot but also requires time but i didnt say anything. i would gladly do it so he can be satisfied.

If there is really a problem and you can do it in a month at least let me know and dont jump from day to day until that day


If its required by the mods to posts the messages let me know and i will gladly do

be aware because I'm un-able to make payment due to PayPal issues and too cautions to send a check across country to you? You want me to send a check payable to someone else because you are not a valid citizen here, don't have a bank account etc etc.

Yes be aware, because I have to do my research before sending a complete stranger $2800.

Again like I said, I don't know who you are, nor care for your vouches. I just feel unsafe of sending a check payable to someone else and you not having a bank account, etc etc.

You making this thread telling everyone to "be aware of me" because I'm too careful. Great enjoy your brakes. Please find me one person who would send $2,800 across country to a stranger, made payable to someone else.

Costas, you're still in NY? If he wants to have the brakes shipped to you in NY, I can always meet up with you to see the brakes and go to Fedex with you to ship them to the buyer. Just an idea

If you are toooooo cautious as you say, why are you intending to buy from a forum? You think that it makes a hell of a difference to you if you pay by paypal or by cheque? First of all, for everyone's information, by sending a cheque, its like issuing a receipt for this transaction. As far as i am concerned people that sent money through paypal and had problems, never received money from paypal due to fact that paypal does not have official "proof" for this transaction. They say this could be a setup between you and the person receiving the money. The will give you your money back if this transaction was made on ebay. IF you want me to list them on ebay let me know, Again you cover the fees. i have 100% with over 100 transactions

Ok you dont trust me as an international seller and i completely understand. A moderator, which at least he should be (and im sure he is) a role model to everyone vouches for me (nevermind the rest people that dealt with me and some even know me in person, lets say you dont know those either). what makes you hessitate. Him as well as others have my address here in ny, and now you do too. I have asked you a lot of times to give me a call to discuss any issues you may have. I want you to feel as comfortable with this transaction as possible. I know its not easy sending money to a completely stranger

And just to hold on what GoodFellaFd3s said ( he is the moderator im talking about). Just pay a small amount to hold them to you and have them shipped here to me so i can then ship them to you. i asked for something solid, if you recall. not a 50$ deposit but a 500. if you cant 500 and you can 300 is still solid for me. i know you wouldnt want to lose that deposit.

I have done transactions for way more on this forum than the 2850 (not 2800 as you said) with people i never met. for the least, the comments i got from reputable sellers were good and that made me feel more comfortable but again a bit concerned. I never ever had a problem with anyone buying AND selling.All my transactions were very smooth. And i have been selling and buying parts from and to all over the world

OK lets say that this forum sucks, everyone on this forum is a scammer. If you want to ask some shops here in the united states of who am i let me know and im sure those shops will vouch for me.
