I paid on May 2nd for my map pocket lid and still have not received it. Am I the only one?

The Bubbletech website is gone, they haven't been online here since mid- May, and I haven't heard back about my 125 bucks for weeks. I know the finishes on more than a few lids was bad...Did you guys send them back? Did they come through?

At this point, over 30 days after I paid, I'm afraid I got ripped off.

 

I resprayed mine and it came out good. Sorry you didn't get yours yet. Do you have an Instagram? They posted something about five days ago. Maybe message them there. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it.

Thanks for the reply, JP. I'm just trying to get an idea of how worried I should be about my money. Last night I tried to check out their website. It's gone, so I got eggy and contacted paypal. That sucks having to go that route, but it's been awhile with no update or reply to their GB thread.


I was ready to buy a gauge hood next. I guess I'll have to look for a clean used one.

 

Whatever the case and/or issue, problem, excuse, etc,. Not being online here for over 2 weeks after taking everyone's money isn't cool.

Benny responded to my email fairly quickly regarding the issues I was having and refunded me $15. Something must of happened to cause all this chaos. Hopefully you get positive results soon.

Well, the website is back up as of yesterday. Now if I can just get them to either refund my money, update the thread here, or at least acknowledge what the deal is, I'll be less bummed.

FWIW, I got mine somewhat later than many it seemed per the "got mine!" replies to the GB thread. I messaged Bubbletech on Instagram and got a prompt response that mine would be shipping shortly, and it arrived when they said it would. If you're on IG, I'd try reaching them there. The finish was also fine on mine.

 

I'm not on instaspam and my money is gone.

MODS? Maybe you can get in contact with the people that ripped me off from a group buy here? I'm having no luck.

 

FWIW, Benny is a longtime member of the community and a good guy from all that I've seen. I wouldn't sweat it Natey, you'll get your unbreakable goodie. I'll see what I can do on my end

 

Mine showed up, it had a crap finish on it (the bubble wrap left imprints on it).. they offered me a refund, or to send it back, or send me money for some SEM Landau Black-Coat to recoat it.

They refunded the money and I ordered the coating, still waiting on it but they were good and fast to respond.
